The Basket Cart (PN 60-BBC-1) is available with high flotation tires for field use. The cart is constructed to match the helicopter cargo floor deck height, so transfer from the Cart to the aircraft is easy. The bottom of the Basket is make of a plastic compound which slides easily and will not damage the cargo floor. The Cart disassembles easily for transportation. Depending upon the operation, one cart may suffice for several baskets.
Once at the field site, the Basket may be quickly unloaded by tipping to the ground, or may be placed back on the Cart for ground transport. The Bucket Basket is light weight, durable and can be ordered in custom colors.
These devices provide a quick and precise means of returning the flight control rods to their original dimensions, after disassembly for maintenance. This alleviates a complete re-rigging of the flight control system saving down-time and man hours.
This picture shows one of our rigging fixtures in use. The fixture is made to be clamped in a vise and is adjustable to the control rod length. When the control rod is removed from the aircraft, it is placed in the fixture. The fixture pins are then locked in place assuring that the rod can be returned to it's proper length after servicing.
This kit provides the aircraft technician a precision manufactured tool kit for tail rotor drive shaft maintenance. It provides a means of disassembly and reassembly of UH-60 tail rotor drive shaft components utilizing special purpose precision manufactured tooling, alleviating the damage to components which so often occurs during this maintenance operation.
Flange Wrench and Socket
The flange wrench and socket secure the tail rotor drive shaft flange and support the flange nut socket ensuring a square engagement of the nut. Without this device, it is difficult to ensure square engagement of the nut and damage to the titanium flange can occur.
A special purpose puller for the removal of the viscous damper assembly from the tail rotor drive shaft assembly. This tool ensures a square engagement and a straight even pull for the removal of the damper assembly. This tool is also constructed to remove the oil cooler driveshaft viscous damper assembly.
This press provides uniform pressure on the viscous damper assembly allowing the removal and installation of the support snap ring without damage to the assembly.
This tool allows the the installation of the viscous damper bearing assembly, by pressing it squarely onto the driveshaft until it is properly seated.
